I am a freelance reporter based in Long Beach, California. I am passionate about people-centered stories that highlight the good in the world.

I have reported for Mustang News and EdSource, writing a variety of stories from breaking news to features, both for print and the web. I also have experience working with audio, video, and photo as mediums of storytelling.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in June of 2024 with a degree in journalism and minors in French and ethnic studies. I was inspired to pursue a career in journalism after seeing how strong reporting can really impact people. Ever since I was little, I have wanted to make the world a better place, and reporting on the stories that matter is my contribution.

When I’m not reporting, I enjoy reading, playing the trumpet in the local community band, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and cuddling with my three cats.
